Plan training for your agencyTrauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
TF-CBT is an evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents affected by trauma, developed by Esther Deblinger, Judith Cohen and Anthony Mannarino. It combines trauma-sensitive interventions with cognitive-behavioral strategies to reduce emotional and behavioral symptoms. Core components include psychoeducation, stress management, emotion regulation, cognitive coping, personal safety skills, and gradual exposure and processing of trauma-related thoughts and feelings. Our training is led by Dr. Brandi Liles, a nationally certified TF-CBT trainer and the only one in Northern California, who has trained clinicians across the country for ten years.

Parent-Child CARE (PC-CARE)
PC-CARE is a 7-session program for caregivers and children ages 1 to 10. In weekly one-hour sessions, families spend about 10 minutes learning new behavior strategies, then are coached live while they play. It was developed in 2015 by Susan Timmer, Ph.D., Brandi Hawk, Ph.D. and Lindsay Armendariz, M.S.; two of whom are on our team.
We certify licensed therapists and non-license-eligible paraprofessionals. You train directly with two of the developers and earn a Certified PC-CARE Provider certificate.
