Background:
I am a PC-CARE co-developer, trainer, and provider. PC-CARE is a 7-session evidence-based intervention for families with children ages one to 10 years. PC-CARE improves parent-child relationships, teaches children calming and coping skills, and teaches parents behavior management strategies through teaching and live coaching.
I have worked in pediatrics mental health for 15 years, developing innovative, trauma-informed, and evidence-based services and training programs. I am passionate about helping families with young children, and supporting the providers who work with them. I provide training and consultation to mental health clinicians and child-serving workers so that they may best serve diverse and high-risk populations. I also work directly with families to provide PC-CARE, parent coaching, parent groups, and child skills groups.
I am excited to be launching a new family support program that is unique to Red Leaf Psychology: Family Roots to Rhythms! This new program is the comprehensive starter pack that every new family needs from the planning phase through the first year of your little one’s life (and beyond!). You will benefit from educational and skill building workshops, individual and couples therapy, post-partum support, and parent coaching.
I believe in strengths-based training and services. Together we will identify and build on what’s going well. I am ready to help you flourish!
